Deflectometry of two road experiments in Brazil was made usingboth the Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD) and the Benkelmanbeam (BB). Deflection basins measured by these two instrumentswere compared to computed basins obtained through the finite elementmethod and using resilient moduli results of repeated load testing.Measurements were made in different layers of pavement structuresunder construction. Noureldin's simplified procedure for backanalysiswas used together with Benkelman beam measurements.
