In 1987 was published the Catalog of flexible and cement concretepavements prepared on the base of analytical-empirical designmethod. This papers deals with an improved design procedure forasphalt pavements on the base of new theoretical knowledge andexperiences with modified and new road building materials andresult of asphalt pavements behavior on circular test track (CTTVUIS-CESTY Research company Bratislava). The CTT has been usedfor test on six pavements structures under 11.5 kN axle load.The research program resulted in development on classificationof used materials and innovation of design method using fatiguestrength as a criterion.
